Name Origin[]

Kauren's name is derived from Kura (Hyena in Hausa) and Hauren Giwa (Ivory in Hausa).
- Internally at Crema, the names Skulldog and Kauren were tied, Crema decided to go with Kauren to keep consistency since its pre-evolution won with Kuri by a huge margin.
