Deceit Aura is a Turn Order affecting Trait and is currently exclusive to Nagaise.
Effect[]
Deceit Aura causes the order of all Techniques used by all combatants on the battlefield to be reversed for the first four turns the holder is on the battlefield and causes the holder to lose 50% of their maximum HP if they were at 100%
HP. Temtem swapping still occurs prior to techniques being used but the order of swapping is reversed and Item usage is unaffected.
Once Deceit Aura activates, its duration will continue to count down even if the holder is not on the battlefield. Due to this, swapping the holder in and out causes when it affects the battle to work strangely. When swapping in, Deceit Aura will activate and use up a turn of its duration but won't take effect until the start of the next turn. So for example:
- If the holder starts on the battlefield and stays in, they get to use 4 turns of Deceit Aura.
- If the holder starts on the battlefield and swaps out, they get to use 2 turns of Deceit Aura.
- If the holder starts off the battlefield and comes in, they get to use 3 turns of Deceit Aura.
- If the holder starts off the battlefield and comes in, swaps out again and comes back in, they get to use 1 turn of Deceit Aura.
- If the holder starts on the battlefield, swaps out and another Temtem on your side gets knocked-out and you bring the Deceit Aura holder back in, you lose 1 turn of Deceit Aura.
